Dance and music have always been an immense part of my life. Since a very young age I studied dance in many various forms with a strong emphasis in classical ballet.
Being taught and evaluated by teachers and dance instructors from around the world gave me the opportunity to see dance as a way of life, providing me with a rich and versatile background.
I have been working and refining my dance skills with and through academic credits, classes, workshops and performances.
Through this process I became a fitness instructor and a personal trainer. I learned how to help people to use dance in their lives as an option to be active, strong, and healthy.
I am thrilled to see lives being transformed and fitness goals being achieved as a result of my vision and commitment.
As I build my career in the fitness industry I had the opportunity to perform as a Group Activity Director of New Milford Sports Club in New Milford, CT. A club with over 2000 members. While in this position I was responsible for planning and directing a schedule of more then 50 classes a week taught by 22 instructors. I had the opportunity to attend many fitness conferences held in Los Angeles, New York City and Boston. I also worked as a Membership Advisor for over 2 years. As a result of this experience I realized that most people quit gyms and their fitness routines mainly because they get bored or worse yet injured, particularly for lack of proper guidance or for performing exercises that are not appropriate for their fitness level.
In 2015 I was presented with the opportunity to bring to my own community, the town of Kent, CT a great fitness program focused on strengthening of the muscles, improvement of alignment, posture and increase of flexibility. It's been a honor and a pleasure to own W. Rhythm Fitness and Wellness and to offer the best of the fitness world to this community.
In my classes, students can look forward to a high energy, fun and supportive, non-judgemental environment. Experienced athletes and beginners fitness enthusiasts will find a class that they will truly enjoy and always look forward to come back. I am here to be part of your fitness journey.
The studio has been growing and besides fantastic classes is also offering Hybrid private sessions which include Pilates on apparatus, Personal Training, Reiki and Yoga Trapeze. Massage Therapy sessions are also available. Contact me for more information or to book an appointment.
